The ISE® Employee Self-Serve (ESS) Module is the web-based tool used to simplify the scheduling management of your most important resource – your workforce. ESS provides unparalleled flexibility and Self Service to allow employees access to their most important scheduling information over the intranet or Internet. Because ESS is an integral part of ISE®, you have greater control over accessing schedule and deployment information at any time, anywhere. With ESS, your personnel can:
Sign up for Overtime and Extra Duty
Employees can now bid for posted extra duty or overtime assignments through their own Employee Self Serve portals. In addition, staff can input work availability preferences based on times they prefer to be considered for extra duty or overtime, and times they prefer not to be considered. All this information is routed in real-time back to ISE® and processed for supervisor assignment, eliminating the need for paperwork and administration overhead.
Request Leave
Employees can use their ISE® Employee Self-Service web portal (ESS) to make and review the status(es) of their leave requests. They can also view Time Bank balances through ESS.
See Detailed Personal & Organizational Schedules
Employees can see their own personal schedules in a friendly calendar format and then drill down to see exactly where and when they are working. Specific assignment details and notes are provided to ensure that the employee is fully prepared. Organizational unit and team schedules are also available, which can help in quickly locating on duty personnel.
View Personalized Reports
Through the Employee Self Serve Reports menu, employees can view and print personalized calendar schedules, real-time bank balances, hours detail (time sheet reports), skills, training level compliance and certification expiry reports over any period of time they choose- past, present and future.
Control Personal Profile Information
Each employee can access their own personal profile, which includes demographic details, contact information, skills, and rank. They can also view limited information on other scheduled employees such as rank and team, to assist them in managing their daily tasks.
Log In from Anywhere at Anytime
Employees can log in over the intranet or Internet at any time, with any industry standard browser. The backend web server that supports self serve is fully integrated with the ISE® core scheduling engine, so that information is relayed between the ISE® system and the Employee Self Serve portal instantly.
